Why Secure Battery & UPS Disposal is Critical
Batteries and UPS units are essential power sources, but their end-of-life management presents unique challenges. Improper disposal can lead to severe risks for your business and the environment:
Surplex UK Limited offers a fully compliant and secure disposal service for all battery types and UPS units, mitigating these risks and ensuring responsible management.
The Surplex UK Pricing Model
Turning your retired technology into a self-funding asset.
Surplex UK operates a Value-Offset Model. Because we specialise in Asset Value Recovery and Material Reclamation, we are able to fund the cost of nationwide logistics, secure data destruction, and legal compliance through the residual value of the hardware we process.
This self-funding framework allows us to provide a professional, audit-ready service at zero net cost to your organisation for standard requirements. We turn your retired technology into a resource that pays for its own secure and compliant retirement.
Our Three Pricing Scenarios:
-
Standard ITAD (Zero-Net-Cost): For most corporate refreshes, the hardware value completely covers the cost of GPS-tracked collection, certified data destruction, and WEEE compliance.
-
Low-Volume Collections: For smaller loads or assets with limited residual value, we provide a modest, transparent logistics fee upfront to maintain our high security standards.
-
Technical & Managed Projects: For complex decommissioning projects and long term partnerships, we provide transparent pricing that can be partially or fully offset by the value of your retired estate, managed via a dedicated SLA.
We will always review your inventory and confirm any costs with you upfront – no hidden fees, no surprises.
